Walk through the Taj Nature Park, an initiative of the Social Forestry Division of Agra, and experience the beauty of Taj from various angles and settings. Taj Nature Park is a beautiful place to visit along with the beautiful Taj Mahal. The place is right across the Taj Mahal and is only a walk away. The stone pathways will lead you there and you will find yourself in the lap of nature while viewing Taj Mahal in the background. The chirps of the birds and the fluttering of butterflies give you an out of the world feeling and take you close to the nature.
The area is rich in flora and fauna. Red vented bulbul, grey hornbill, paradise flycatcher, golden oriole, tree pie, Indian flame backed threetotoed wood pecker, ringed dove, common green pigeon, blue rock pigeon, parakeet, white breasted kingfisher, hoopoe, Indian cuckoo etc can be seen easily. The dancing peacocks around peahens in the background of Taj create a divine ambience. Python is the biggest in this area. It is often seen in the search of prey while at times hanging from the trees. Other important reptiles are rat snake, cobra and monitor lizard.

Ridge to valley nature trail The land scape of the Taj nature walk is undulating because it is located in the ravine ecosystem and consist of rift and valleys. Tourists walking on these nature trails can enjoy sighting of Taj Mahal from different angles and background.
Flower beds :-
46 variety of flowers of 69 colours are grown every year in the degined flower beds from Oct to April every year. These flowers are home to a variety of butterflies.
